About Crescent Heights

Crescent Heights is located between the downtown core of Calgary and the Trans-Canada Highway making for an ideal location with easy access to major parts of the city.

Crescent Heights has a reputation for its views of both downtown skyscrapers and the Bow River.

The community was founded by Archibald J. McArthur as a village in 1895. Later becoming a neighbourhood in 1914, making it one of Calgary’s oldest neighbourhoods. Since its inception, Crescent Heights has grown to have a mix of commercial businesses, residential homes, and a wide array of condos, schools, and historic sites from pre-WWII. It exists today as a close-knit community where everything you need is just a quick walk or ride away.

Crescent Heights was built on a location that boasts its sights and green spaces. You will often find walking paths and bridges busy with runners, and cyclists enjoying the ease of access to parks and downtown.
